Party forum

Hi!
sooner or later there'll be more than one party in switzerland. i was thinking that we should create a part in the forum with one forum by party where only the member of each party could post.

What do you think?

PS: i know, we shouldn't focus on that now, bla bla bla... just answer the question: it's time to move!

Nice idea, but only for say, the Top 3 parties to keep it clean

We could have a forum for every party if they want so. We just have to creat a special part on the forum or set that only party membres can see this part so it will still be clean.

If it's possible, i'd do it the same way it's done in France.
A part foir the most important political parties in which some topic could be read by everyone (to explain what you want to do), others only for members (taking decisions).

i may come down in a few months and see what's going on, and possibly start an opposition party once the main swiss party has been established ^_^
i'll even fund the whole thing myself if people are interested

I think I'll have a discussion with JN about how we could totally reorganize the forum... It's slowly getting unclear and confusing. I feel a little bit uncomfortable with all these parts!

the party forums are nice but it would be better in the future if they could instead of a sub forum they get a section at the bottom of the forum (like new members, regions, rest of eworld etc) and a list is put there. with 1 public discussion party seen for everyone (for each party) and then a part which is shielded off and only accessable for the party members

I think may be allowing parties to have their own independent forum might be a good idea.

Yes another website is what I meant. I think if we just have party forums on this site there will be a clash of interests as I have seen this happen before. Once different parties start to develop debates about who should be admins of the national forums might start. I would prefer if people lived in unity.

i don't think you need to consider seperate forums yet, Unity is key right now as you attempt to rebuild eSwitzerland guys.

it may come later but for now, there is only one party and it's ours
i prefer to let the possibility to anyone to start his own party forum here, if he doesn't want it, then no problem he can go somewhere else. but as i think IRL, you can be the worst ennemies in politics but the best friends in life. I don't see why politics would come a problem on the administration of this forum and i'll never let this happen. Look at what eFrance did on his forum and you'll see that it works.
